What hardware?

The bangmoney.org server is a Celeron 400 with 128 megs of RAM and some unimpressive amount of disk. It's really an unremarkable machine. It only handles the tasks of the domain itself - web, mail, dns, and logins. It previously served as a house router as well, but that task has been given to another machine. bangmoney.org sits with most of my other machines on a set of black metal shelves that have seen many many moves.

What software?

The operating system is Slackware Linux, tracking the -current tree. It's kept as up-to-date as I can manage given the amount of time I have. The site itself runs on the Apache webserver, with the pages themselves just barely written in PHP. I've long since gotten rid of all the crummy database stuff I had set up. PHP is the next to go, since I don't really have any dynamic content and don't care to.

Who runs it?

This site is written, "maintained", and operated by Chris Lumens.

How long has the site been around?

I have been operating this domain since May 1999. It has been in more or less continuous operation, except for the long outages whenever I move, which is about once a year. So I guess it hasn't really been that continuous. As for the website itself, this is the third or fourth design, depending on how you count. Parts of the past several designs remain on certain pages, but I am working on moving everything to one layout.
